I started making pieces for this collection some years ago now, primarily to show at the annual end-of-the-year Sons of Norway Christmas Festival (Washington Lodge). Attending and volunteering at this event is very much a family tradition that my mom and I share (I am half Norwegian on my mother's side). Inspiration for the jewelry in this collection comes from two trips to Norway and is also influenced by popular viking related films and series.
